Our Mission

Our intention is to ensure that Foxboro Never Forgets the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001. Moreover, in the words of our good friend Cindy McGinty, it is important to remember that "the horrible people who planned that horrible day thought they were making us weaker. They made us stronger... they brought us together." We would like to bring Foxboro together and pay tribute to the many Americans that lost their lives on September 11th and the many others that continue to serve to keep us safe.

In 2009, President Obama signed into law the Serve America Act, a bill sponsored by the late Senator Kennedy, making September 11th a national day of service and remembrance. We invite every club, group, and organization in town to participate in town-wide community service projects on the morning of September 11th and join us on the Common to enjoy the traditional McGinty Family Fun Day activities.
